Excitement!

 

I am super excited about 2 things…

Thing 1: 

I’m going to Denver in December, yay!!!! Get this, Ms. Straight Gurl invited me to attend a party with her in Denver and… she bought my plane ticket! 😱🥳 I’m getting flewed out, lol… First time for everything! No chick has ever flown me anywhere. I generally do the flying people out stuff…. 

I wonder if we’ll have time to go to Vail! OMG! I’ve been wanting to snowboard in Vail since like forever.. We shall see. 

Thing 2: 

I talked myself into running a 5k in April during the Black Lesbians Meet in Greet in New Orleans. I already found the race too. It’s called “Born to Run” and benefits a women’s wellness center. I mean, on paper it’s a total win/win….

In reality however, a bish is out of shape like a mofo. So, I’m just going to have to whip it back like it needs to be. Nothing like the pressure of a deadline and potential utter humiliation to get the old juices flowing.
